Komoka Kings Hockey Club devote the 2018-2019 season to the 16 lives lost in remembrance, to the 13 who survived and heartfelt condolences to the loved ones left behind.
We, as a hockey club, know that this could happen to any hockey team and respect those continuing to play, who survived the accident, for the Humboldt Broncos this season and to others who's lives took a different path as a result of what transpired on April 6, 2018.
The Komoka Kings Hockey Club salute all players past and present, families who continue to have loved ones, no longer with us, remain in their hearts.
This is why the Komoka Kings Hockey Club will honour the Humboldt Broncos with team crests on our helmets and devote, with honour our entire 2018-2019 season in remembrance of our fellow hockey brethren and to the brothers who lived through the accident.
